Is there anything that is somewhat unusual about your undergraduate background?

I received my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, magna cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University. Biomedical engineering is the discipline of engineering that applies fundamentals from engineering, the basic sciences, the medical sciences, and mathematics to solve problems in medicine and biology in order to understand, modify, or control biological systems.
